Tech meets African Talent
Event organised by Politecnico di Torino and Enel Foundation
African leaders working on cleantech for energy access pitch their ideas at the Italian Tech Week.
Open Africa Power is an education venture initiated by Enel Foundation in 2018 in partnership with top Academic institutions in Italy and Africa, aiming to forge a new generation of African leaders deeply engaged with their countries clean energy future.
The program engages high-profile Master, MBA or PhD students or alumni from all over the continent to provide them with an holistic know-how of the electricity sector.
This collaborative program brings together Enel Foundation, Strathmore University, Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano, Bocconi University and Florence School of Regulation.
Some of the African leaders from Open Africa Power 2019 working on cleantech solutions for energy access in Africa will pitch their ideas at the Italian Tech Week.
This pitch event will feature the top participants of Enel Foundation’s education program in a dedicated networking opportunity where Tech meets African Talent.
Join the event to discover inspiring ideas on how to boost electricity access in the context of the clean energy transition in Africa, and engage with participants to discuss concrete opportunities to deploy new technological solutions in the continent.
The event is open and free, and will be concluded with a networking cocktail.
