Italian Tech Week 2020: from the 22nd to the 26th June Turin will be the capital of innovation

Turin, 27 November 2019. Organisation for the Italian Tech Week 2020 has started. After the success of the first edition last June, the promoters of Italian Tech Week have confirmed the dates of the next edition, which will take place in Turin (Italy) from 22 to 26 June 2020.

Some of the new additions to ITW 2020:

a startup arena where the best young Italian entrepreneurs will be able to present their startup
projects to an audience of investors (angels, venture capitalists, etc);
a rich program of seminars for young people and students to help them in discovering the jobs of
the future;
– a series of events (both for professionals and for the general public) dedicated to the relationship
between Tech & Sport, Tech & Art and Tech & Food;

Also confirmed is the original formula of the Week, as a non-profit initiative, inclusive and open to
everyone’s contribution: any company or organisation can in fact choose to plan its own event
during the week, enriching the choice for the professionals, students and public and at the same
time taking advantage from the presence in Turin of famous personalities from the world of applied
research, tech business, venture capital and innovation.

The tech week will be concluded by the key note from the founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, who is
scheduled to join on 25 and 26 of June 2020 the SEI Torino Forum, the annual appointment of SEI
– the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation which was started two years ago in Turin. Jack Ma
is one of the leading entrepreneurs on the world scene, the founder of an e-commerce group that
at just 20 years from its foundation in Hangzhou (Zhejiang, China) has reached a capitalisation of
over $ 480 billion, with a clear mission: to make it easy to do business anywhere.
