The founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, guest of honor at SEI Torino Forum
Turin, 27 November 2019. The organization of the Italian Tech Week 2020 has started. Strengthened by the success of last June, the promoters of the italian technology week have confirmed the dates of the next edition, which will take place from 22 to 26 June 2020.
What’s new at ITW 2020:
– a startup arena where the best young Italian entrepreneurs can present their development projects to an investors’ audience;
– a program full of seminars aimed at young generations and students to allow them to discover the professions of the future;
– a series of events (both professional and for the general public) dedicated to the relationship between Tech & Sport, Tech & Art and Tech & Food.
Confirmed the original formula of the Week, which is a non-profit initiative, inclusive and open to everyone’s contribution: each company or organization can choose to create its own event during the week, enriching the choice of the public and at the same time benefiting from the presence in Turin of great personalities from the world of applied research, venture capital and innovation.
The technology week will close with the announced participation of Alibaba founder Jack Ma at SEI Torino Forum, the annual gathering of the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation that started two years ago in Turin. Jack Ma is one of the greatest entrepreneurs on the world scene, creator of an e-commerce group that just 20 years after its foundation in Hangzhou (Zhejiang, China) has reached a capitalization of over $480 billion while remaining true to its mission: to help anyone start a business by exploiting the potential of the network.
